Bursary applications for the 2017 school year opened at the start of Term 4, 2016.

Financial Hardship Bursary applications for the 2017 school year are now closed. Applications closed at the end of Term 2, Friday, 30 June.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Refugee Bursary applications for the 2017 school year remain open and close at the end of Term 3, Friday, 22 September.

Information for Schools

Please note the following:

  • The statutory declaration included in the bursary application form for all three bursary categories must be signed by the fee payer on school premises and be witnessed by a full time teacher, Principal or Justice of Peace employed on a full-time basis at the school. Statutory declarations signed outside of the school and witnessed by someone other than the above mentioned school staff will not be accepted.
  • Please send bursary applications to the relevant region’s email address.
  • Please place the student’s first and last name in the subject line of the email, example ‘2017 Financial Hardship Bursary application for John Smith.’
  • When sending an email to the relevant foundation region’s email address, it is important to place the student’s name in the subject field. The foundation can then easily locate the email at a later date if required.
  • Please send one bursary application per email.
  • Bursary applications posted to the foundation office will not be accepted and will be returned to the school.

Information For Families

Please note the following:

  • One bursary application is to be completed per child.
  • The statutory declaration included in the bursary application form for all three bursary categories must be signed by the fee payer on school premises and be witnessed by a full-time teacher, Principal or Justice of Peace employed on a full-time basis at the school. Statutory declarations signed outside of the school and witnessed by someone other than the above mentioned school staff will not be accepted.
  • Completed bursary application forms and supporting documentation are to be given to the school office who will then submit the application to the Catholic Education Foundation via email.
  • Bursary applications posted to the Catholic Education Foundation office will not be accepted and will be returned to families via post.
