2019 Catholic Education Foundation Annual Appeal Day Fundraiser

For the fifth year running the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) is holding our CEF Annual Appeal Day. We invite all Primary and Secondary schools in the Sydney Archdiocese to show their support for the work of the Foundation and participate in the annual fundraiser. By being involved you will help to support families in need in your local community.

When?

Please save the date in your school’s calendar for week commencing Monday, 16 September 2019 (Week 9, Term 3), on any day which is most suitable for your school. If this week is not suitable, please select your own date, preferably during the week prior or week after.

What’s involved?

Students are invited to participate in a mufti day and dress as their favourite movie character for a gold coin donation. Money raised to be donated to the CEF Bursary Fund to support children and their families.

How can our school show our support?

How will our school be acknowledged for their support?

The highest fundraising Primary and Secondary schools will receive a framed certificate (Note the highest fundraising schools will be calculated by the average funds raised against the school’s student enrolment to give a ‘per student’ figure). Participating schools will have their school name and funds raised included on the 2019 CEF Annual Appeal Day honorary participation list promoted on the CEF website.

How do I send funds raised to the CEF?

Funds can be sent to the CEF using SAS or CiAnywhere.

SAS – Please use the creditor CEOCEF to raise an invoice in SAS so that payment can be made directly to the CEF via EFT. When raising the invoice, please use the invoice number CEFAAD19 and GL Account: 8.8112.97 for both the receipt(s) and invoice. If 8.8112.97 is not set up, please use a relevant contra account 8.8300.00.

CiAnywhere – When receipting please use a sundary receipt (NO GST) to GL LLL-2-900-60082-9000. Please use the creditor 104647 to raise an invoice in CiAnywhere so that payment can be made directly to the Foundation via EFT. When raising the invoice, please use the invoice number CEFAAD19 and GL Account: LLL-2-900-60082-9000.
