The Catholic Education Foundation was created to ensure that opportunities are provided for all students to enjoy the benefits of a Catholic education, and the bursary program is designed to fulfill that aim. The program is open to students enrolled in Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in the Sydney Archdiocese.

Bursary applications for the 2018 school year opened at the start of Term 4, 2017.

A bursary is a grant awarded to a student to provide financial assistance for their education within the Sydney Catholic School system, for those families that experience genuine financial hardship and require assistance to pay their school fees.

Please note, the Catholic Education Foundation Bursary Program is open to students enrolled in the Catholic school system in the Archdiocese of Sydney. Students attending independent private or congregational Catholic schools in Sydney are ineligible to apply for a Catholic Education Foundation Bursary.
